Mike, 38, is a Toledo, Ohio native. As a junior golfer, Mike was named Toledo Junior player of the year twice.
He played his high school golf at St. John's Jesuit where he won the Ohio State High School Championship honors in 1989.
Mike earned National recognition when he made the Quarter Finals of the United States Amateur at Muirfied Village in 1992 losing in extra holes. (Tiger Woods did not make the quarters that year).
He went on to earn additional local honors as the Toledo District Golf Association Player of the Year on 1991-1992.
Mike currently holds the HDCC course record of 31-31-62.
After turning Pro, Mike won 15 “mini tour” events and twice came very close to earning his Tour Card.
In 1999 Mike qualified for the United States Open played at historic Pinehurst. He cites this experience as the clear high point of his career to date.
Mike has worked as a golf instructor at Sylvania Country Club and also worked as an assistant pro at Trump International in West Palm.
Over the last two years Mike has successfully competed as a professional and has most recently won the Tigertown Open along with other professional tournaments.
Mike looks forward to continued success as he tries to earn a berth on the PGA tour.
