mike and steve stone won the pga section match play champ. after a long season and many tough matches the strong team capped off the victory fri in akron at firestone cc. both players could on have been happier to win the best evnt in the pga section.

mike stone beat noy only a tough field but also the weather. on a very long day of all day rain stone carded scores of 69 73 to win the toledo chapter stroke play champ.

mike stone captured  his 2nd win of the year with a solid round of 67. 5 bidries help him stay ahead of the competition.

mike stone fired a final round 68 to finish 3rd in southern ohio pga championship. a strong field and even stronger temps made for a tough day.

stone continued his hot play  by firing 66 in tigertown open. stone made 6 birds with no bogeys.  brian unk just kept ahead of stone on final 9 holes to capture the title with an impressive 64. 

Back from a week in Toledo visiting family, friends and my cat, my mind is fresh.  Had a chance to tee it up with Dave "Chips" Horn my future caddie.  Teeing it up tomorrow in the Ocala Open in Florida and hitting it well.  Keep you posted.

Long, hard, wet golf course.  Hit decent just off by five yards here and there and did not get it done.  Felt nervous but in a good way.  Head is a bit in the clouds today.  Looking at a new driver.  Appreciate all the support

hello to all my family and friends. raining down here in florida today. I am about to tee it up in the PGA Honda Pre-Qualifier tomorrow. I am hitting it well just need to get tournament tough. Feel like I have been playing poorly but still able to finish in the top third of the field. It has been about 4 years since I have done this consistently so I just need to get my feet under me and keep grinding. appreciate all your support
